Meet Dr Emily Fisher, Chiropractor
As a chiropractor, Dr Emily Fisher loves seeing people return to the activities they’ve been missing, with care that’s thoughtful and hands on.
A Calm and Reassuring First Appointment
When you first meet her, Dr Emily hopes you’ll feel “calm, comfortable, listened to and genuinely cared for.” She aims to create a welcoming space where you feel at ease sharing what’s been happening and what you would like to get back to doing. “I love helping people move out of pain and back into the activities they love. There’s nothing more rewarding than watching someone regain their energy, confidence, and quality of life.”
Training and Professional Background
Dr Emily studied at Murdoch University, completing a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Clinical Chiropractic, graduating with distinction in 2025. Her interest in chiropractic started early. When she was 10, she fractured her neck and was told surgery would be necessary. Instead, Ryan treated her conservatively and guided her through a full recovery without surgery.
That experience changed how she viewed healthcare and inspired her to pursue chiropractic so she could help others in the same way. More recently, Dr Emily spent two weeks in India providing volunteer chiropractic care to rural and remote communities in Siliguri.
Outside the Clinic
Dr Emily is a self-described music nerd and can easily lose track of time playing her violin, whether she’s revisiting a favourite piece or learning something new. She loves learning new instruments too and is currently learning the ukulele. You can also find her swimming at the beach, spending time with her dogs, or enjoying the outdoors through kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, camping, or fishing. When she’s at home, she enjoys board games, card games, and the challenge of a good jigsaw puzzle.
